The Pneumatic Rifle is a thing of beauty and classic example of superior engineering.
This is a completely scratch built replica weapon, built to last, and crafted to be a prized possession. The body of the gun is made from Alder, and was hand shaped, taken through a 10 step finishing process, similar to fine furniture, and then the hand etched filigree was created to make it one of a kind. The pistol grip is fitted with tooled leather, and more hand-carving. The shoulder stock was made from hand shaped steel bar, and more hand-finished wood, and includes a chromed "pressure container" and gauge. This is the power source for this gun. The barrel is finely finished steel with brass barrel brackets. And the crowning glory is the solid polished brass long scope, with a telescoping spyglass eyepiece.
This is meant to be an attention getter at a Steampunk festival, a Con, or displayed in your home. The piece weighs about 8 pounds, so it is substantial.
This is a non-functional, costume replica weapon. It is not designed to, nor will it, fire. But it can be confused with a real weapon. As such, our shop is not responsible for any handling of this piece that causes any confusion or harm.
