This is a PDF DOWNLOADABLE pattern of aviator hat , and step by step tutorial.
Pattern goes in 3 sizes, Seams are included (1 cm – 3/8 of inch ) .
My goal was to produce as most original shape of aviator hat used in ww1 and ww2 ,
so this is a very original looking , good crafted hat pattern .
the hat is lined , ear flaps can open ,
Here is 2 files:
1- with pattern,
2 -with 98 color fotos full step by step tutorial how to craft this hat with lining and finishing piping .
This project is not for total beginners ,good skils in sewing needed ,but this pattern can be used by everyone as basic pattern to create your own aviator hat .
it goes in 3 sizes for adults .
head circumference :
S – 21.1/2–22 inch 55-56 cm
M -22.1/2–22.3/4 inch 57-58 cm
L- 23–23.1/2 inch 59-60 cm
all measurements are in cm and inches.
The pattern is designed to be printed easily on any home printer. You will be able to download the files from Etsy as soon as your payment is confirmed.
No paper pattern will be shipped. You will receive a PDF file, and will need Adobe Acrobat to open the file.
